Personally i prefer Forum Posting. Mostly blogs provides no follow links but we can easily find do follow forums. we can also make friends over forums which is worthy for personal and professional both level. It also produce positive results.

For those of you making a post supporting Blog commenting and Forums posts are probably not aware of the fact that in the last Panda update by Google, it has started devaluating the links from forums and blog comments. Here is what happens: You make a post on a forum and give signature link or post link. You see a temporary boost in your backlinks and ranking and you are happy. Google is aware of the link and in the next update devalues that link and you will suddenly lose the ranking...
