    Hi,I've heared about forum posting and blog commenting but I would like to know more as which is the best to increase ranking.We can generate backinks from both but which is better for search engines?Thanks for listening.

    Are you referring to actually forum posts, or just signature links?

    I'm going to say a well written relative comment on a blog page that has PR and no spam comments will be far more valuable than a forum post.

    Forum posting is most valuable for improve your ranks but your Blog is good PR and u write genuine information it is asl helpful for u.It depends upon your hand.

    Both have their importance by doing forum posting, you can get backlinks and by doing blog commenting you can get good traffic as well as good backlink.

    Forum posting has high conversion than blog commenting. In blog commenting if abounding commented the chances of acquainted your comment becomes less and mostly not many read all the comments (atleast 50%) but when you are searching for a solution and you stumble on a forum you will keep reading the thread atleast till any one posted a solution, the conversation keeps us interesting to read through.

    in my opinion forum posting brings in more traffic (targeted if the forum is in your niche) but blog commenting has better SEO value

    Blog commenting is good if it is done on blogs with the same niche as your blog. however, there are no such issues with forum posting. You may be xyz replying to any abc threads.

    There are virtually no definitive answers in SEO although I would also love to know the answers. The problem is you're asking the wrong question.

    There are some people who use forum profile for 99% of their SEO tactics whilst others who try to replicate that have no success at all !

    To my knowledge, blog commenting has an upper hand, because I was doing these two together few months back. I got better results from blog commenting.

    Both are OK.Forum posting might drive more traffic.But it doesn't mean that blog commenting is not better.It might also depends on your posts/comments too.so whether you comment or post, Just do well.
