Forum posting in blog commenting to increase traffic?

Hey Dionne, if it works for him, then why wouldn't it work for you? I see so many people replying to threads providing NO VALUE at all. Ask yourself why would any person in that thread want to take a look at your signature when you helped no one?

The key to forum marketing is PROVIDING VALUE. When replying to threads make sure you're giving a solution to the problem indicated in the thread. Provide additional value on the topic also.

I seen a post in a thread before that got over 200 "thanks". It was an extremely long, detailed reply. Surely his/her signature got more attention than the usual 1 line reply, that barely even addresses the problem.
