If you join a forum, with the intention of using it to gather backlinks and nothing more - then your basically going to waste the actual potential of a forum.

I observed that nowadays most of the new forums also don't have nofollow tags because they want it to be used for seo purpose as well but they are being spammed heavily because they don't have proper resources to stop spamming.

 

But if your forum can get a lot of post who cares about spam?

Yes, many of the forums do act as a backlink for your site when you post a reply. It is just so sad that so many use the forums just to spam and everyone using the forums the proper way suffer.

but if they are pure advertisement /spam /same message /thankyou typ/e and they come under my notice i remove them
