Calling anyone a whiner is not a judgement in character, but I guess this depends on what side of the fence you are on. As for your so called "slamming" comment. I wasn't the one who started this so called rant with kate. She posted comments on this thread "slamming" myself to begin with. I had all intentions on paying her the measely $2 for her time, but she wanted to take out her frustration within the thread. Your girl, kate, who you so adamantly shelter, was the one who started this rant. Does that mean her professionalism is lacking? Everyone who has ever done any sort of job for me in the past has been paid for what they have completed. I have hired designers, coders and writers from this forum with success. The only problems I had in the past was with other writers who did not show the quality they portrayed early in a project. They were still compensated. Well believe it. Common ground could have been established with me or kate. Either party could have suggested many solutions now that you think back on it. She seemed so quick to quit on the project though, that I really didn't think to negotiate. Starting a job doesn't exactly show good faith. That doesn't really prove an ounce of "good faith". There are literally thousands of writers out there that can do the job I ask of them. Lets remember, I wasn't asking for professional articles but forum postings. She was never my client. If we had a continued relationship, maybe she could have been. I think your judgement is a bit skewed on the whole business relationship side of things. I don't have to prove ANYTHING. It is the client or coder or writer or programmer that has to prove to their hiring party or contractor that they are able to get the job done. Hence why they get paid. I think if I were to go into a job interview with that mentality, I would find myself homeless very soon after trying to prove to my newfound bosses that they should prove to me why I should be working with THEM. I wish the world worked like that, but unfortunately it doesn't. I think there is a reason it works the other way around......maybe because it is logical.
To be fair, I did receive my $2. But it was TOTALLY not worth the headache or ALL of the emails that I have received in the past two days that were so much nastier than anything he's posted on this thread. This is one miserable guy and I don't think he understands what a working relationship entails. He also gets his facts wrong and I'm glad to be done with it.
Well there is one thing I can agree on with Kate, it was a headache. None of my emails were even remotely nasty. You come at me stating lies and false accusations on both this thread and and the emails you sent me. It is you that seems to have misery upon your side. I am truly happy with the way I run my business and life. You have become quite the headache over the last few days and I have been more than willing to work with you. Due to your incompetance and "slander", I am very happy to be done with this as well. I proved my point on my last email I sent you. If you have anything else to say to me to backup your claim...you can let me know.
I think the majority has already ruled on this one...Kate should post a website with all of those nasty emails and then we can see who really is guilty of the slander. I am responding in hoping of bumping this so that all of the writers keep reading this thread and keep away from this one who talks out of both sides of the mouth. glad to see kate that you got pay for your three days of work. ;-)
There is no majority as far as the project with me and Kate is concerned. Chrissie, you just want to put your 2 cents in, anywhere you can and you are more than welcome, just make point and make it worthwhile. Kate can post whatever she wants within the emails that were sent from me to her and vice versa. I have nothing to hide. Seems as if you two make a great couple, maybe you could help her out Chrissie?
