Forum placement?

    I'm opening up my new forum sometime in febuary(still coding the forum skin).

    Where are the best ad placements on forums without looking too demanding and in your FACE. The link to the forum is below if anyone wanted to see.

    I'm thinking maybe one above the forums fast reply? Let me know.

    The forum is not accessible...
    Well, maybe you can copy some ideas from DP forum:
    A banner on the top with random coors,
    Link units after the first post,
    728*90 banners after 1st post and before last one on the same page...

    You can have a CTR of 2-3 % ...

    those curves really works for your site...

    but interchange the colors of the text and title in your ad...:D
