Forum participation is really effective.

Being a link builder, i am happy many time when my works shows its result Perfectly. Last week i just shared a newly launched bookmark site in this dp. That site is hosted same day. they didn't do any process to get index. even they dont like to get index real soon. But the site which i shared, it got index in the date which site is hosted. i understand that a single post is enough to catch. Did you get any experience like this?

To bad I can not find any forum posters willing to contribute without
trying to rape the forum. some are only on the forum to drop a link,
and run off like a little girl...those are worthless people, and will
never bring you much of anything to your forum.

 

If you have a post with a signature link, google will see one link; but what if you have 100 posts with 100 signature links, google will see 100 links? or just one?

 

@dscurlock very well said. never try to spam a forum. instead contribute to it and in return add your links to your signature.

Though am a newbie, yet I strongly believe active participation in forums increases your chance of being listed in search engines as SE indexes forums faster.
