Hi cant think where to post this sorry

Ok if you are a forum owner do you have any problems with people using this software on your forum

    fp [dot] icontool [dot] com

I have looked at this software as I get alot of people using it, well allot of spammers, I found my site within the list of forums on the software.

I would love to kill the maker of this software my self, if I could get my hands on him.

as I cant do that what can I do? and i want it to be som thing good and bad for them

nothing illegal about the software...so don't see much you could do to the maker him(her)self...though a lawyer could answer that question better...

though what forum system do you use...

i have a neat mod on my forum that counts how long it takes someone to register...and if it takes less than 15 seconds it doesn't allow the registration

    yes but they didnt reply

I know what you mean, I use vb and have the image on registration, the thing is I think they register by hand first, I didnt try the trial version my self as I hate it.

surely some one else is having the problem, like why not this site

well, i'm thinking if they can make a hack to prevent short registrations...one could be made to prevent instant posts as well...

If someone who understands how to build a Firefox extension, has a bit of networking know how and a bit of time to kill, I can provide the answer that will seriously cripple auto spammers and hit their users where it hurts.

Send me a PM and I'll be happy to elaborate.
