    you get traffic on your forum the same way you would get it for any website, join on topic forums and contribute genuine comments with links in signature back to your forum, social networks, social bookmarking sites, article submission etc.

    Dear friend,

    The method to market a forum are:

    1. Create or hire few users and build discussion
    2. continuously and dedicate work on your forum for atleast 6 months to make sure it has enough content and topics to attract real people and search engines.

    All i have to say is HARDWORK pays, so make sure you put it loads of efforts as the admin and invite few dedicated users to trigger discussions. A forum without any discussions is like a plain notpad.
