What are the geneal ways of monetising a forum? I have a forum coming up and I would like to know the different ways of monetising it. I have thought of some already. One is adsense, second is a contest for godaddy gift cards (over 100 of $10 each) will be given away. On this contest ove $1000 will be spent but I am just not sure how will I get back my investment as I just have enough for a score of cards to be given away. Any help with regards to monetisation would be helpful.
