    It can be a bit difficult to contact them if their email address is just an auto responder. :) (yes, you could use PMs but I think you can disable receiving those in some forum systems).

    I've never had anyone sign up to my forums using an auto responder as their email address, but if I did I think I'd most likely either ask them to change via PM or I'd just disable all outgoing emails to them (e.g. subscription notifications).
