It seems reasonable.But maybe it's so tough for us to make it.So only when we prepare to make a long-term fight for this,and manage our forum well,then can we benefit from it.I don't know whether this is just your opinion or your real experience.For me,I think it's really a hard task.Maybe I prefer to build a own website and then promote it by ads or other ways.
i personally dont think that forum is a good place try to increase your pr..yeah its good for targeted traffic but its not relevant for pr if u wknow what i mean..
Using forums as a means to drive traffic to your site/blog works. I have to agree with the OP quality and original content is the key. But, that is the same information everywhwere. So just stating that you need to use quaility and original posts is not really original. We all know this. Here is the key. If your new to forums, then you need to read every post in a thread before you post. You dont want to sound like an idiot when you start posting. You dont want to ask a question that has already been answered in an earlier post. Yes it is time consuming but it is also well worth the extra effort. Use the information that you learn here and in other forums and blog. Drive traffic to this blog with forum signatures. You really want to gain the reputation and then go from there.
