Forum marketing methods

How many of you use forums to advertise your site,
i never spam just contribute to posts and leave my sig link

i use big-boards to find the biggest forums,
are there any forums you have used with good results??

i get alot of traffic from my link here and at another big forum but would like to start using more forums

As forum posting should be for traffic, then nofollow should not be a concern.
