Forum Layout/design Oppinion question

    on a forums main page, where it lists the last post subject, and the date, and time , and author of the last post,.....should I keep the date and time (like DP) or would it be better (encourage more posts) to replace that with a snippet from the post body?

    Well, I mean it would still be there in the post, but im talking just about what is displayed on the main page.
