One thing I don't like about the Forum Jump on the right is that I think the Log Out should be on the far right, but then it kind of defeats the purpose of having the Forum Jump on the right.

Is there any way that onmouseover could make the writing bigger for whatever block the mouse is hovering over?

    Hope that makes sense.

In theory, but how useful would it really be? If you can't read it now, are you really going to mouseover everything trying to find what you are looking for? :)

I liked it on the left too. It should be an option in the user CP (right or left or not display at all), though, IMHO. :p

Okay, it's going back to the left (for now). Just seems more natural over there.

Look at it this way: An added bonus is that for all those who got used to User CP being the second menu item, you'll now get a lot of people actually reading the forum rules for the first time ever :D

And for those of you whining about WHERE it is, the point is that in its former position some of us couldn't use it at all.

What the hell is more "natural" about it? Now it's back to being a feature I can't use at all.

I'll figure something out... maybe I'll actually get into mucking with vBulletin's JavaScript so it doesn't open up into non-existant browser window space (to the left).

Okay, how about now? I "fixed" the vBulletin DHTML menu JavaScript to make sure opening to the left wouldn't put the menu into non-existing browser space (that means it will always open to the right).

Um, no... it's still opening off to the left in no-monitor-there-land...

edit: Never mind. I just did a hard refresh to reload the script and it works :D

    Thanks Shawn!

Edit2: That's actually BETTER than it was previosuly because for the first time NONE of the menu is cut off.

Yeah, while not exactly a "bug" in their DHTML rendering code, it definitely is an annoyance. I've submitted a bug report (including the JavaScript fix) for their menu rendering code which hopefully will get incorporated into vBulletin 3.5.1 so I don't have to hack the JS each upgrade (I'm so lazy now with the plug-in system, I don't ever want to touch a single file... hehe).

    Its a pile of wank.

I only jump from the General chat area to the Introductions.

It's like taking a lift up three stairs.
