Forum intergration with wordpress

Hi all,

new here and im searching for a little help with adding a forum to my wordpress blog, all the plugins ive found myself seem to go round in circles and end up not working or a waste of time. i was wondering if there was any way i could compress a normal phpbb forum into a full width wordpress page. any response is greatly appreciated

I think you can always control by changing CSS for the forum
