Forum integrated in the website?

    A friend of mine had a website which allowed the forum to be part of the website a while ago but I can't remember the address or how he did it/ what he used.

    Is there a package that allows you to do this? I mean something similar to this idea: http://perezhilton.com/?p=10570#respond - the comments are blended into the website but I want a forum to be like this.

    I know some use of PHP would be required hence I posted it in this forum thinking some of you whizz kids would know I'm talking about :p.

    Try e107 cms, their forums are nicely integrated into the main portal.

    Yeah, that's what I'm after but they only have the whole website package for download. Is there a forum only version or maybe somewhere else?

    Also, is there a forum plugin for wordpress I can use so the page will appear to be all-in-one ?
