What is your input on opening a forum hosting business where you host all the forums for all of your members, provide them with templates and even their own domain name pointing to that forum or just giving them a subdomain on your domain. you give them all of that for free but you just put your ads on each forum. Kind of like proboards.com. Is this market filled already or is there some room?
I believe there are still plenty room for you, if you still offer it for free I have seen many free hosting requests up to now
Get a separate dedicated server and don't put anything else you care about on it. If you manage to host a bunch of forums I'm sure at least one of them will end up being a target for DoS attacks and lots of hacking attempts. Be very sure your webmasters keep the forum scripts up to date.
