Forum hosting. Is it really profitable

I was thinking about buying a Forum host. Forum host as in a Site that let's people register forums for free.

But I'm kind of new, and have no one to turn to for advice(so here I am).

Does it really profit. I was thinking, if I go and get like 200 active forum running under me that's going to cost a fortune in hosting.

And then I would have like 200 forum admins running all over the internet getting members.

Does it even profit more than it costs?
How much bandwidth do forums take?
Is there a possibility that if I got it huge that it would cost me more than the profit?

Yes, it is profitable but it takes time to generate $$ you have to pay some good $$ for servers aswell..

I wanna talk to you Davey.

    PM sent.

I know a lot about forums, skinning and graphics.

Also, I'm a killer advertiser. It wouldn't be a problem having a place that hosts over 200 forums in a month.

I just don't want to end up paying for all of that without any way of generating more profit

You should also factor in competition in the process.
