    Hey Guys,

Just interested to see what others experiences are with this and whether they saw any results.

Have you tried adding a forum to your niche site before (either adsense or affiliate niche site)?
If so, what sort of results did you see?

I'm more likely to enjoy a site with a forum. On the other hand, why would you want a forum to discuss that topic, I mean, don't you think it would attract a lot of spammers? Sorry, I've never done what your'e asking :)

I know what you mean, although I guess it is easy enough to stop spammers.

I have a few niche sites, one of which is dedicated to a particular range of products that are quite popular, however looking online there is only really 1 large forum that exists for it. So I definitely see potential there, but I am still deciding between adding a forum on the niche site or possibly starting one up complete separate and just link back to the niche site.

I think if you're gonna do a forum you have to do it right. I have it in mind for my site, but I'm not going to implement it until I get a certain amount of traffic - I'd never sign up for a forum that had 5 or so posts in it!

Marketing forums is not too hard though, and in this particular niche where topics are quite broad and only 1 real forum to contend with it wouldn't be too hard.

I've worked on quite a few projects where they have integrated a forum. When its worked its worked great! But on the other hand ive seen many fail and no one ever wants to join a forum with no subscribers. whats the point?

Just make sure you've got a real niche and you think it will generate interest and traffic.
