Got these in the latest rush for the new domain names. What do you think? Was it worth the effort?

    forum dot diamonds
    forums dot equipment

the keyword "forum" is a great way to go. I have no hard facts to back this up but in my opinion, the majority of forums are subdomains and the people who create/invest in forums may not have the deepest pockets. I like forum.diamonds, but forums.equipment, ehhhh. I have a "feeling" that forum.diamonds is a good buy. Value? who knows

Cheers sweetpea. Yeah...i figured forums are always a good topic. The equipment domain could also have a mutitude of sub categories on it. So depending in niche... sports could be football, rugby, tennis, scuba etc etc

The rush for new domain names that are in reality not very good, IMO. Flip them ASAP, someone might pay a decent sum due to them being new, but the TLD is too long and the word order is wrong if it is for a forum about diamonds (e.g. "diamond forum" instead).

Considering these are new extensions no one is going to be able to give you an accurate appraisal and anyone who does would be purely speculating since there is no data to base it on. Personally I would consider this to be more of a "gamble" then an "investment".
