Hey there, I am developing a very minimalist site. I need a minimalist forum theme. Most of the forum s/w I've seen such as Simple Machines, seems a bit of clutter on the page (at least compared to my minimalist requirements.) Does anyone know how I can: 1. either make an existing php forum s/w more minimalist? 2. know of a forum s/w that is minimalist out of the box? Thanks so much for any suggestions.
Take a look at punbb http://www.punbb.org Theme editing with SMF is fairly easy though. You can remove a lot of the "clutter" yourself if you want. But punbb is pretty minimal out of the box
