Hi everyone, I've tried to develop a unique forum design for IPB, unlike the repetitive, boring designs most forums seem to have. This is still very much in devlopment/testing stage and the name, domain and hosting are not yet decided on (which is the reason it is currently hosted on a free IPB host) so no need to sign up yet (unless you wish to look at the member areas). So far it has only been tested on firefox and the latest version of IE, so if you have another browser, let me know about and bugs you see. I will also point out the 'Content Box' tabs aren't yet working. I'm hoping to get them working with AJAX to load the different bits on content. I've also added a few nice looking modifications to make the forum easier to use. Especially on the Mod and Admin CP's which you won't be able to see. http://scribecoding.b1.jcink.com/ Let me know what you think.
idea is very good of a new format of the forum.... but the colour combination is not much impressive.... it will be perfect if u improve that..........
Like Wajahat said, the colors aren't very good. The light gray text is hard to read. Layout wise is not bad, there's just the menu I don't really like. It's not visible enough. Potential is there, you just need to work a bit more.
Well you tried some thing new and unique thats is a great thins because unique is always good......keep it up
Thank you all for the feedback. I'll change the grey to a darker grey or black and see if that looks any better. I'll also see if the menu can be improved at all. The top menu looks better when the user is logged it (feel free to log in on the demo and have a look; username: test, password: test). Is there any other colors that you're not liking? Are the blues okay or would you change them? Cheers, ~Ben
