My forum was ranked 9th in the search term Warhammer Online Forum, but now it is totally gone, it seems like it is deindexed. Is it because I need fresh content ? Then how to add fresh content to forum homepage if the layout is ok or does the whole site content matter ? Or might there be some other reason why I get this setback ?

Thx for your help, site adress is http://war-universe.com

Here is what I obtained when I searched for your website:

    ***
    General Error
    SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

    [0]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.
    ***

I'm not sure where the problem comes from, but there is a problem.

This is weird too, I don't think I have had downtime for a month and surely no sql errors. It had the error at early august when the bot crawled it and it showed this error, but the bot has crawled the site a lot after that.

Do you submit your sitemap to google webmaster tools?
I think you could get your answer there
    Good luck

i think problem's not related your content.

google may deindex your pages from time to time.

i think you have to focus on getting more backlinks. this will solve your problem

The forum design is excellent but I do think you'll need more content and updated content. Google looks at forums and blogs differently than static sites.

Some tips I'd give you as somebody who runs several forums (you can check the baseball one in my signature, it's my newest)

#1 - You have it set so you have to login to read the threads, how is Google going to index anything but your main page and login page ? You need to make your forum public to read and make people register to post.
#2 - keep posting yourself just to keep the forum updated, if you even have to make multiple usernames and post to yourself for a while, you have to do that when you start a forum.
#3 - Add an RSS feed if possible (I use SMF so I can't help you with VBulletin) and submit your RSS feed to FeedBurner

Again, have a look at the forum in my signature and look at the "Add to Yahoo", "Ad to Google" RSS buttons. Those will keep your site indexed and watched for new content.
