Could A.I. (Artifical Intelligence) use forums data to learn?

I would think the amount of english language structured in convosation format could teach A.I machines.

    what do you think?

Considering some of the stuff on these forums it would end up being a very messed up AI.

It is possible, but I don't believe we've reached that stage of technology yet. I don't think even ECHELON is capable of reading the information on forums. I think it will be possible once neural networks become advanced. However, the technology doesn't exist, and it will be years before it can be created.

Come to think of it, they would have to recreate the human brain.
