Forum backlinks or blog comments , which is better for SEO rankings?

I have started forum postings and blog commenting, kindly let me know which is good for SEO keyword ranking and traffic?

Forum backlinks are better for rankings as most of the links we provide in blog commenting is nofollow

 

For me i am saying forum posting is best ( high page rank do follow forums with signature links) because we get approved instant links with the help of forum posting but blog commenting means we need to wait for moderator approve....and some times moderator delete our comments...so i am saying personally forum posting is best....

 

both methods are very helpful for getting SEO ranking. first is forum posting then blog comments but if you add your anchor text link on quality PR dofollow blogs pages so its helpful otherwise nofollow blogs is not helpful.

 

Personally right mix of both is helpful. Just make sure you are not spamming the web. Even when you are going for blog commenting, as long as your are contributing to the conversation, your comment would be approved and would be of value to your website. Personally I have seen that even nofollow links contribute to ranking.

 

depends on the page rank of the forum and the blog, and also the number of outgoing links they have got

 

Forum and commenting, both are important. But it should be do-follow links. It's difficult to find do follow niche blogs to post comments. Here you can easily find related forums, forums threads and also do-follow back links. so i prefer forum posting instead of investing more time in blog commenting.

I 'd like to suggest you that focus on forum posting because it 'll give you good rank in future but most of blog comments are no follow so it wont help you to reach good SERP.

 

well firstly i would like to say both are good as a point of seo.but if we analys one of both so i think forum posting is best....

 

I vote for forum backlink because when on blogs, a lot of the links are nofollow.

 

forum posting is best strategy for generating back links because this save your time and energy. but blog commenting need approval from admin website. so it take lots of time and mostly your link is not approved from admin or admin not read.

 

Personally I will suggest you forum posting. Because by posting in various forum you can get good quality back links.

They are both important. Along with other ways to get links.

Forum posting on DF forums is an easier way to get more links, vs blog commenting giving you more IP diversity, even if its NF.

 

Blog and forums work great. Since blogs are mostly no-follow, I suggest you edit them to make them dofollow. There are how-to's on the web for that. I prefer blog commenting myself, that is if it's a dofollow blog. Otherwise I don't bother.

 

Blog commenting is usually on more main pages which can be better. However, it is now very hard to find blogs that are dofollow so I would stick with profile links.
