    Google do not count all links, and they have state of the art technology to filter out fraud link building systems.

    It even helps in indexing a brand new site. Moreover the DP links are considered to be qualitative one.

    I think like everything else forum links help particularly if they are relevant to your site. IE, if you run an SEO site a link from this forum will be more relevant than it is say for our site.
