hi guys do you believe that posting comments and forum links can hurt a site's seo? if most of the links of a site come from comments and forums - won't the site be considered as a spammer site?
if you do it on the right way, it want hurt your site. if you dont spam than you have nothing to worry about.
I guess if your doing it the normal way and if your just writing stuff and comments which is relevant to the topic then I guess it is not considered spamming but if your placing irrelavant topics and answers to forums and blogs then it would be considered spamming and google might see it and punish your site
well, if most of the links to a site come from comments and forums, it might be considered as spam - since a site doesn't have any "regular" backlinks
For me, forums give backlink to home page. But when I do blog comments, I target a specific blog post, so it's a relevant and quality backlink. if I write about credit card, I will make comment on any blog post about credit card, and link it to that particular blog post, not to homepage. In this case, it's impossible for it to become spam.
Forum posting and blog posting can take a lot of time; however it is one of the methods that I use to build backlinks for my sites. I believe that as long as you have more than one method in your arsenal then you are going to be okay. My biggest challenge is to find something that is a little more hands off than posting on blogs and forums. If anyone knows of something like this and is willing to share then I am all ears.
If you comment on niche blogs and forums its can't hurt your site SEO. But remember that you need different kind of links, on different IP.
Comment here and there as you please... But don't start spamming, you will waste your time and it will not bring you what you wish for!
Just make sure to have other links like directories and bookmakrs so they are not the only links to site.
The whole objective is to get as many relevant links from different IP addresses as possible and blog/forum posting is one tactic you can use to do this. Just make sure you use a range of keyword specific as the anchor text!!!
No, Actually it will helps you to get ranking. do select dofollow forums and high pr blogs to post comments.
Yea that should have been said - you do need do follow links for high rankings. Can anyone try and quantify the effect of blog/forum posting in SERPs? Has anyone had any success with these methods exclusively? Just curious...
Im using forum n blog comments to increase backlinks for my blog. As long im leaving a useful comments for them and their readers, I think that is not spamming. N believe me, you will enjoy doing this.
