Forum Ads placement..

    ok i am starting a new forum that will not be targeted in making money from the forum but the forum will drive traffic to my main site.. Anyhow I was wondering what type of AD placements i could do that would not annoy the average users too much...

    The top right location like DP is not possible at my forum.. I was planning on doing one AD after the first post like DP though..

    My two other options are either the footer or under the navigation bar any suggestions on which one i should use?
