Formula 1 site...100% unique handwritten content... Adsense Amazon RSS

I sold this site for $200 on DP and held it for the buyer for a few days whilst I opened up a Google Checkout account for him but he backed out strangely because the invoice currency was in UK£ and not US$ so is now back on the market.

Jackson, let me start by saying i'm not interested.

I'm not interested because I don't like the look of the site (it just looks poor in firefox when I first opened it up) and I don't have time to invest in making changes.

However, I feel you have a site that is in an area that is not saturated, and has enough content to be really REALLY worth something.

Sure, you have no pagerank - but like you say there is an awful lot of content there that will surely attract interest from the search engines.

Despite my negativity about the general look of the site, I feel you are under selling it - just my humble opinion.

I also think, if you can wait until the current F1 season is over, and keep the site updated - you might have a really popular website on your hands that is worth a lot more - especially if that young upstart Lewis Hamilton manages to win the championship in his first season - that will spark an awful lot of interest.

 

Hi Vanderberg, I meant to put Formula 1 not STD, STD is for a different site I have listed at the moment. That actually gets over 46,000 searches but yes, the figure i have at the moment is correct for Formula 1 and can be confirmed at inventory.overture.com

I will amend my initial thread now.

I appreciate your post, I don't mind negativity if it'sa genuine opinion I(as opposed to a bitter post) and balanced, which yours was.

You're probably right about holding on to it but am just getting started with content sites and would like to make some cash for now but I do intend to get some PR for sites also to sell for more.

The guy who backed out liked it and was initially willing to pay so I'll see if anyone's interested for now.
