F1 is the pinnacle but I think Indy is a better test of a driver's skills because one, it's more competitive than F1, ie the cars are more equal than F1. It's not the haves and the have nots like it is in F1. And two, Indy drivers have to prove that they can do well on large ovals, short ovals, road courses and street courses. F1 is all road courses with, correct me if I'm wrong, the only exception being the temporary street course in Monaco. So Indy is a much more diverse championship than F1 is.
Well both of them have different skill sets needed to control the different cars. On a personal level i would chose F1 cause i just like the way the car looks better. As for the skills to control both of these machines i have no clue as to the skills needed. Overall it would be nice to see if you put both drivers in the same cars what would happen and who would win.
F1!!! I am so excited that it has returned to the states, and even more ecstatic that it is being held 3hrs away from me on it's tour. Can't wait till the tickets go on sale!
Indy seems to be getting better and more popular all with time but it still has a long way to go to be as popular as Formula 1. F1 is still the pinnacle of motorsport.
