It's said that Formula 1 is the pinnacle of motor sport, but some people reckon that Indy Racing is better - what do you think?
I agree formula 1 this season with the new Pirelli tyres, DRS, and KERS allow so much more overtaking therefore making it more exciting.
In the 60s the Indy 500 was included in the F1 schedule, but very few F1 teams bothered entering. Lotus entered once with a F1 car that was underpowered compared to the mighty Offenhausers, and the great Jim Clark came second in his first ever Indy race. They could have done a lot more if they had been aiming to get into Indy racing. For an inferior formula, Indy car racing attracts a lot of attention, but that is in the US. Those guys don't get out much ...
I'd say F1 is technologically far more advanced and more complicated (even for people watching it), although i have no problem watching Indy too (and Nascar for that matter), it's not just cars driving around ovals as some people might think boring
