Felipe Massa took the fifth pole position of his career in qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix on Saturday afternoon, with McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton splitting the two Ferraris.

    Good news for Ferrari fans.:)

I saw it too. Kimi and Alonso were on the slow side but as the commentators said, maybe they were loaded with fuel.

Massa is usually good in qualifying, its the race is oftens fumbles.

Also, Anthony Davidson was very very fast considering that he was driving a super aguri.

Yes Kimi and Alonso both were on havey fuel so they were slower than their team mates. But it helps both in Race where they would stay longer on the track. Massa really puts better performance,I hope he will do better this time in race.

Hamilton is lucky besides good. He immediately came into the number 2 or 1 car.

Other champions all started with small teams so they never got the results Hamilton got. Alonso started with Minardi for example.

Well I not agree with you. I think he would not be part of top 3 in Race.

    My top 3

    1.Massa
    2. Kimi
    3. Hamilton.

...and surprisingly Hamilton did it again! :)

I'm sure he has some luck on his side, but not just that.

He is pretty consistent, already! And that's not typical of a rookie!

There's a bright future ahead for British Formula 1 drivers...don't forget that davidson was doing well, and so was Coulthard.

Button is going to come back or lose his role as the leading British driver, hopefully Honda will do something to put him in the right conditions...

I think Hamilton is one of best driver so far. He did it agian and very close to Massa in last lap.

Ferrari did great job in pit work put Kimi ahead on Alonso in first stop. I give top 3 mine and almost correct for me.:)

I am a little bit late but here is my opinion about the race...

Excellent job by Massa, but I still think he is not a drivers which is meant to be a champion. My favorites were Coulthard (excellent drive which reminded me on his 2 consecutive victories after his plane crash :) ) and of course Heidfeld (overtaking Alonso in the race is a thing which has to be remembered). Nice to see BMW running so fast...

Good thing is that we have 3 drivers with 22 points what leads us to conclusion that this could be very exciting season. Hamiltion is #1 name of the year. He entered in history books by being the first to get 3 podiums in very first 3 races. It is the matter of time to see him winning the GP. I honestly hope he will be the overall winner this year... OK, Alonso will be good too :) I just wouldn't like to see Ferraries there :)

Yes these three drivers make title race more intereting for us. All three did great jobs and we may see Massa soon along with them.

I agree BMW so fast this season and I think BMW is more improved team so fat this year.

Coulthard looked good in this race by putting 3 drivers one by one but unfortunatly he was not completed his race.

Yeah, i thought that DC did really well in the race, then a failure, i was soo dissapointed.

Anyway, i think its going to be a good race for the championship this season, with 4 people in with a chance.

yes, but don't overestimate Lewis Hamilton, soon a champion, but he's a rookie, I can't believe that he's not going to make mistakes that rookies make, although i hope not...

David Coulthard is the kind of guy that can do well, when he wants to and when he focuses on the job.

Jenson Button has a disappointing car this year, again, I can't see him win a lot anytime in the future.

But Davidson could prove to be better than what we expect, consider the quality of his car and only then compare his performances...

Im disappointed about Jenson this year also. I thought that because he left last season on a good string of results, it would continue through to this season and Jenson have a good chance of winning a through races. But the car just seems to have let him down.
