Former NASA Astronaut Now Claiming ET's Have Made Contact With Earth

So, this claim has been made for ages, but now coming from a former Astronaut who was on Apollo 14, does it lend the claim more credibility?

Here are some quotes from what he said on the radio:

"I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we've been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real."

"It's been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so," he says. "But slowly it's leaked out," he says. He says, "Some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it."

NASA of course denies the claim, even though they don't say anything negative about the Dr.

I don't think anyone would be too surprised.

The fact of the matter is, we are so paranoid against each other in this world, that proof of alien communication would send this planet into a doomsday frenzy.
We are not ready to know.
We don't trust the guy living next door, and cannot communicate with our own family members.

If contact from another world was made, some dumb ass leader would try and kill them, not being smart enough to realize that the technology to get here, would probably mean the technology to destroy the planet, and that would be it.

We cannot agree on anything on this planet, for the benefit of all of us, and it's just us ! Throw another world into the mix, although it would make our issues seem small, we would surely screw it up.

It would take a highly intelligent and peaceful interstellar visitor to make this planet full of paranoid , self righteous freaks, shut up and listen.

If I was a visitor, I would steer clear of this world.

Well, why not? If I were an "Alien" of sorts, and I was scouting out different planets who were most likely eons behind me in technological advancements, I would definitely scout out such a planet for many reasons.

But like the Dr. said - if they had hostile intentions, we would be gone by now.

In all seriousness, the news would be the news of the century, but not all that surprising. I mean, to think we're the only ones is pretty retarded.

They exists, not all millions of claim false. Why dont they visited moon again after that mission. I have heard that one of the guy on the moon encountered by Aliens and had some bad signs. Sooner or later but they will be seen in the sky to you too

Lisa Nowak was a astronaut, she was arrested while wearing diapers, and charged with attempted murder/kidnapping of her crushes (another astronaut) girlfriend.

Even if something like this is true, without proof nobody, well at least the general public will not take it seriously.

 

yeh if they really had contact with aliens, who got a very high technology, they could have asked for solution to cure HIV, cancer alternative fuel etc...

Heard the interview, I believe in aliens. It would be selfish to think that Earth is the only planet capable of life when the universe is so well put together.
I've also seen a UFO once and it's something that as far as I know can't be done with human technology. The shuttle would hang still in the air on certain spots and then reach top speed all of a sudden, it could also go up extremely fast so I'm sure that it was a UFO instead of a military plane which was the first thought that crossed my mind.
