Format for adding channel to adsense on this forum

I named the channel as: dp on my adsense account. But when I type in dp into the channel in user options in this forum, it says I have not entered it in the correct format.

What format should I use?

You enter the number from the channel that you set up at adsense not the name of the channel.

 

Exactly, just snag the channel number from your AdSense code block and enter it.

 

Every channel has a specific ID which can be found side of the adsense channel. You need to enter that channel ID, not the name.

 

Go to Your Adsense set up and generate a new ad with your desired channel selected. You'll get an ad code similar to this example -
