    Hi,

I am not sure what language I need however my site www.solocars.co.uk I need a form for a new page I am going to create. The form is going to eventually be rolled out to my part exchange page.

The form needs to take a registration number and do a dvla search to find a car (I'm not even sure how its done but plenty of other sites do it) Then show the details of the car and ask customer to confirm. Then take further details on the next page and email all the details to our email so we can provide a valuation.

If you know how to add a form that does a DVLA search to my form then let me know. I am not interested if you can do the rest of the form I assume if you can do the DVLA search you can do the rest because I can create forms very easily anyway.

Please read all of this before messaging me because as you can see it might be complex. wewantanycar.com or webuyanycar.com seem to have a form pretty much how I want.

    Regards

Do you have access to an API to provide the data?

Most of the ones I found are premium services

I don't have access to any API sorry, but if they are premium we wouldn't minding depending on cost. But all car buying sites and valuations seem to have the same programme on it redone in its own little way. i.e it shows the same image for the car etc…

    I can't even find premium

    well there is
    http://www.autocheck.com/consumers/gatewayAction.do?siteID=0&WT.mc_id=0
    www.cdlvis.com/services/vehiclelookup/

Not really had any experience of using either API so couldn't say if they any good.
After obtaining access just need use a server side language to use the API and return the data to the form.
