Forgive my Newbie stupidity, but....

    Can you please let me know what good directories are?
    I understand the big ones, but what do the littler less known ones do?
    I would like to know, because I really need to start promoting a couple sites and I am trying to come up with a plan, LOL:confused:

    In addition to an0n said they are also the BEST way to submit your site to the major search engines.

    You will get listed there faster by indirect submission than direct submission.

    Sure they are, and the better quality the directory is, the higher your site will count at the eyes of the search engines.
