They say that to err is human but to forgive- is divine. We all keep striving to make ourselves better. But sometimes the erring people persistantly keep going on and that is when the forgiving part becomes difficult. And sometimes such people you can't ignore nor leave as they are part of your family., many a times around you!!! I guess you have to have crocodile skin so nothing hurts eh!!!
Yes ofcourse, we need to forget what they have did to us to forgive someone. Stop thinking about it to forget what they did. Positive thinking always helps in forgetting bad things.
I find it only possible to forgive once I've gotten my revenge.Oh yes I'll let them think I've forgiven them...but that's only so they will let their gaurd down.As soon as the oppurtunity presents itself....BANG!...revenge Revenge is sweet and satisfying.It's not a nice way to be but that's the way I roll.The only way to stop this is for someone to sincerely apologize to me,or for me to accept that I was wrong in the first place.In which case I will apologize.
the moment you have forgiven a person..you have to forget the past! but its hard to do esp when it hurts you a lot..pray, so you will have courage and strength to forget everything..
I don't think you should force yourself to forget as it's not something you could do at will. The more you push the issue, the more it stays.
I always forgive, I just can`t go and be angry at someone because I get angry and it costs way to much of my energy and time. I just try to forget and move on if it isn`t a big deal anyway.
