    It's actually pretty easy.

    There are 2 ways. First I would try this:

    Start your computer up, after the first boot screen appears begin tapping F8, once you see a screen selection come up, select safe mode.

    Once you are in safemode, you will see a users list, Administrator, and your Users.

    Click on administrator. If there is no password (usually not), then login, go to control panel, users, and change your password.

    Reset, login to your normal account, and use this password.

    2nd Harder, but will work option:

    Hello Kip ;

    The first method did not work out . Even though on the safe mode. It asks for the user + password. May be my friend forgot his password.

    Thanks

    make sure you are clicking on administrator, and not your friends account. if you click on your friends account, even in safe mode it's going to ask your password, but administrator should let you in with no problem.

    If it does not, the 2nd option will work, but take some work.

    Be careful when modifying settings in the control panel; randomly changing settings or playing around with them can alter how your computer works as well as the performance, causing unneeded problems. Only change settings if you know what you are doing.

    If administrator's password is empty, why need to go to safe mode? Just log in as Administrator and it will be ok?

    If it's Windows XP Home Edition you cannot login as administrator except in safe mode.
