You can read about heaps of ways to build links to your sites : forums , articles , bookmarking , social networking etc....etc.... They all obviously work in some degree. But which ones should you focus your time on. As a newbie and you have just built a site in your niche are. What plan of attack would you employ to get links and start driving traffic to your site. Where to start ad what to spend your efforts on ????? Thanks in Advance Peter Thompson ( Australia )
You can start by blogs. I had a wordpress blog on articles specific to my niche. It brought around 300 hits a day to my niche. Hope this helped. Try wordpress. They bring the best traffic. Use the tag feature heavily.
making friends with other webmasters helps a lot and the best way is networking with webmasters not of your same niche but something similar.
forums, social bookmarking, etc. are the most important at first just to get a traffic flow, then you can start serious link building to get the organic search results.
All tips you have mentioned is right but some add more as do-follow forum posting, do-follow blogs comments and social networking etc.
I would say posting on dofollow forums and posting on do follow blogs is a good start for the newbies. Also social bookmarks
Sorry to sound ignorant but what is do follow and no follow and how do you know if a blog is either. Thanks in advance Peter Thompson Australia
