Forget AdSense - I SEO'd for a Baby!

I wanted to post a message to the people behind DP because this forum may very well have changed my family forever. My wife and I have been trying to adopt for more than a year now. We have 2 agencies and have spent a ton of cash to retain them, to no avail.

We have flown back and forth across the country to match with birthmothers who have changed their minds for one reason or another and gone from joy to heartbreak over and over.

We built a website to help our efforts at http://www.schrockfamily.com, and despite it placing #1, #2, and #3 all at once for Nebraska Open Adoption for several months, we were only getting a few visitors a day.

Last night a birthmom from Nebraska (my state) called my wife and said she saw our website and loved it. She was due yesterday, and the baby could come at any time. She and my wife talked for nearly 2 hours before agreeing to match.

While nothing is a certainty until papers are signed and a baby is born, I thought I would make a post about the power of SERPs to accomplish goals that are far more important (IMO) than a fat AdSense check.

The information I learned on this forum may very well have helped my wife and I adopt a baby, and my guess is not too many people can say that! Thank you DP! Keep up the great work!
