Are you sure you checked with Google.com and not your local Google?

I have checked it and saw no such domain between 30-40:rolleyes:

Besides --just checked the backlinks of the URL you mentioned and it has some high PR (PR4/6) backlinks. So it is already a minimum PR4 site --and showing PR0 as G is not exporting PR for public yet.

Yes using Google.com, it's shuffled a bit it's now last result on page 4 (position 40)

Edit: My mistake, i'll admit this one... appears it's done a re-direct and the new page doesn't have PR yet. There's also a few other PR0 results but obviously a PR glitch, as one of the URL's was GIMP and a few others that appear to have lost PR sitewide which really shoul have it.

The 40th place is occupied by this URL--dia-installer.sourceforge.net/

And as I mentioned earlier --it has high PR backlinks and most probably already a PR4 site. We do not see it because Google has not exported PR for the public. Please check yourself--

    http://www.iwebtool.com/backlink_checker?domain=http://dia-installer.de/index.html

If PR is not important --Matt Cutts would not have commented on his BLOG that rich firms/sites manipulate search results by buying links that give them high PR.

    The original statement was...

I proved this incorrect by providing proof of just one of my pages is #7 for a 80 Million or so search term. The page has no backlinks.

Then the statement got changed to...

Again, my whole site has never seen a pagerank update and is PR0 yet it's beating all the "higher end sites" some with a PR 9 with content just as relevent to the search as mine.

Which debunks that one as well. I ranked #1 for the term "Winrar" beating Winrar's homepage themselves with a PR0 site that has never seen a PR update.

    Result # 44 URL: messenger.live.com PR- 0 Outranking sites with PR 9
    Search URL: http://www.google.com/search?q=WIND...&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&start=40&sa=N
    (See attached thumbnail)

What pagerank are we talking about here??

The OP said A pagerank Export is must for a site to rank well in SERP you did agree with him and been proved wrong.
We all were saying for last 3 pages that the Pagerank you see in your Toolbar is nothing but just a green bar that has nothing to do with SERP. hence site with 0 TLBPR can outrank a site with any given TLBPR. you agree or disagree??

If you agree then you disagree with the OP.. and if you disagree then you disagree with your own statement quoted in this post. now you decided where you stand.

Did any1 here ever get penalized for their PR? I started a blog TechChee.com and I managed to get a PR 4 for the url w/o www and PR2 with www after only few weeks. I learned from other blogs saying that it's best to joing the one with www and without www in order to have equal PR, so I followed and I did it by fixing a .htaccess, but after few months, I got a drop to PR2, I guess I got misled. But just about a month b4 I changed back not to have w/o www to redirect to the 1 with www and I designed a new 3-column template for blog and changed the entire design about 2 weeks ago and I also participated those crazes in exchanging links and faves for blogs, and today, I got a shock that my PR drop to 0. Am I penalized ? But I searched google for those words that I used to rank high or 1st page of google such as "tech stuff gadgets","shop online gadgets", it still shows me similar position and I still find quite a number of traffic led from google search in my web log. Appreciate very much that any1 here can help to give some advice... panicking ... :) thanks in advance
