I've had the site for 14 days, during which these are the stats: Google Analytics stats show 377 visits, 1042 pageviews and 283 absolute unique visitors during the last 14 days: * Referring Sites 279.00 (74.01%) * Direct Traffic 84.00 (22.28%) * Search Engines 14.00 (3.71%) Google has started spidering some of the content, and I'm first on Yahoo for "forex newbie", "forex newbies", "forex for newbies" that I know of. I spent $20 on directory submission too. AdSense revenue of $14 so far, the affiliate programs bring you $30 and $100 per signup.
Wow, $14 in the first 14 days isn't bad. If you can get that much just after sart up then there's certainly potential. At the moment it isn't worth too much, but if you can build up the revenue and sell it in a month or two then there'll be a lot of interest for sure
Thanks I just don't know how to build traffic! I used to put a link in a forex forum but now they disabled that possibility and the traffic is falling. How would you invest to build traffic to the site? It already has original content which I'm adding daily. Maybe search engine marketing? What else? Also what about the domain name? How much does age influence its value?
Just advertise it really. Find blogs and the similar with a forex niche and try and buy a link there. Also, work on your SEO to rank high in Google and other search engines, and this will help you get some more traffic. Another tactic is to buy sig links. Just advertise in as many places as possible
