Forex Niche Keywords

So recently I was considering to try out forex niche, because it seems like a very profitable market, and also has really decent products.

I had few products in my mind, which I was going to promote, but everything stopped, when I started to look for keywords.

    LOL, nothing !

Maybe I am missing something, but all keywords, which get 10+ searches are very competitive, like 20k+ pages (keyword in quotes)....

Is anyone here promoting forex stuff via bum marketing? I just can't find any good keywords....

I am not asking to share your keywords, but just give some advice here, because looks like this niche is just too competitive.

Are you looking to promote keywords using Broad, Phrase or Exact match?

It's a very hard niche. You can find some keywords, make some traffic but in my own experience: Damn Hard Niche. I had 400-500 people and I made only one sale. And I've did PPC too. Maybe the page is not very good but 1 in 500....that's not something good, if you consider 50-100 clicks from targeted keywords.

There's not many left to exploit I don't think, some long tail maybe,... when searching for forex though there's only so many phrases to go by. Some people might choose "algorithmic automated software trading" but not many do.

It's pretty over saturated with ezines although youtube plus other ways seem exploitable. Thats my take.

Weight loss on the other hand still have many long tail keywords which grow by the week

I did a bit of searching and I'm not promoting these will work but they seemed to have some pretty good ratios:

"forex day trading" - 22,200 Searches, 320,000 Competing Pages, 173 Sponsored Links
"forex market trading" - 3,600 Searches, 74,500 Competing Pages, 96 Sponsored Links
"forex money" - 9,900 Searches, 168,000 Competing Pages, 12 Sponsored Links
"forex signal" - 14,800 Searches, 321,000 Competing Pages, 136 Sponsored Links

I'm sure they may seem impossible to get but I don't see why you couldn't reach it without a bit of hard work. Just my .02 cents...

What do you mean by sponsored links?

For example the top website for the above is lite-forex.com.

    This only has 28 reciprocal/backlinks - link:lite-forex.com

How did you get the 96?

^^ http://www.google.com/sponsoredlinks (What you do is you place the keyword in the search box and it returns all the Adcopy of all of the AdWords users using that particular keyword.) Or so I read in a magazine before, very useful!

If I was to give my honest opinion; stay away. Though some of those keywords look good on paper, you just won't rank for them.

You also won't get any long lasting traffic. Think of it this way, all those articles you write are a one time thing. They won't earn you much (or anything) down the road.

Even with long tail keywords forex for the most part is so competitive that it is a dry arid desert right now.

Not a good time to enter the forex niche. It's FLOODED with useless products and get rich quick scams! Once these will get filtered and everything gets back to normal, GOOD products will have a chance. Not until then though.

I've had this problem when promoting the tracer and brotherhood.

Seems the affiliates making good money in this niche have large mailing lists.
