I was just checking out forex killer on Google and the first result for the product is an affiliate hoplink which I thought was rather strange but really good if your the affiliate and yet when you click through to the order page there is a different affiliate nickname, anybody know whats going on?
SO here is the link off that affiliate: http://www.forex-killer.com/?hop=wm009 ... The thing is, if the link is in this format - cookie will not be left in your computer, so this affiliate will not get the commission. This is why you see another affiliate's ID when you order (I see affiliate=none).
I've noticed Google indexing websites with the hoplink attached more often recently. But that isn't really good news for the affiliate with the hoplink attached as it's only attached visually - it doesn't actually attach that hoplink when you click on the link. In order for CB to give you credit you have to use the proper hoplink and not http://www.website.com/?hop=blah
LOL. That sucks for him... I mean, I would be upset to see my link ranked #1 but not bringing in sales
It's not like I aimed for 1st spot with it. lol. I don't really have a choice what google ranks. ---------- I didn't know my "uber" seo skills were that good lol.
Well, it's gone now. I'd like to thank google for leaving me up there for a good 12hrs. I yielded me 15 sales. I wish lol.
