When there's a gold rush, people sell shovels. Doesn't mean you'll simply buy a shovel and find gold though... Some shovels will claim to pick up more soil, dig deeper through rock/rough spots, or come with a bonus pan to sift through your dirt and guarantee you find gold or even diamonds, easier.

They are but a tool, with slick marketing like anything in life. Yes, the refund policy is there and yes the refunds are high. However here are a few scenario's for you.

    Campaign #1.
You earn: $25 (avg at CB)
    Make: 100 sales a day
get 10 refund (10% is generous for CB)
    = $2250.

    Campaign #2
You Earn: $75 (avg forex earnings, some MUCH more).
    Make 100 sales
refund: 40% (being generous, some have less/more)
    you earn: $4500

Risk awareness is what it's about, and yes it's harder to sell higher ticket items and or finance related services however at the end of the day it's what you take home not how poor the loss protection is per vendor.

I'm not saying only do campaign #2, it's good to diversify your low+high risk campaigns among your portfolio just like it would be with stocks/RRSP's etc. some like the risk, others stay conservative and fluctuate less (usually earn a lot less too).

I like to preach this: Good things come to those who wait, and GREAT things happen in an instant.

To answer your question though: Yes, they work, as a tool. No, they often won't do exactly what the pages say they will do regarding forward tests or with live accounts. I used to play in this niche pretty heavily, and it's as dirty as it gets re competitors campaigns, aff competition, creatives, etc. people will cut you out for a nickel if they can - and now there's SO much saturation in the niche that even the big guys are feeling it pretty big.

If you have the stomach for it, you can make a ton of money with forex, whether selling bots, services, or trading yourself. If you can't stand the thought of refunds without looking at the day's end $ value vs. that of a less touted product, then you're better off not playing in this niche, you'll drive yourself nutty trying to compete while perceptively losing money on refunds.

Yup i was wondering the same thing for a long time regarding this niche.
As a CB vendor(not in forex) and a programmer who used to work 6 years
in a company that created the backoffice platfroms for forex companies
i know how tough forex trading is and i am guessing that these sites
are very far from giving real value,
i wonder if there is an indian company selling it's "forex bots" to the highest bidder and CB vendors capitalize on it.
I never tried any CB forex bots so far but as someone who knows the in and outs of FOREX very well i am very skeptical regarding the current CB FOREX systems.

If there is a high risk product I wouldn't do it. But then again if you make money with it.....why not? But personally I would not promote a product you don't personally believe in.

Norb explains it very well with his examples and the need to promote a mix.

I sell a lot of forex products and some get high refunds, find the ones that work like fapturbo and you are onto a winner.
