Hey guys, im currently working on a foreign language site and im trying to work out a linking strategy. Since directories forums and blogs in that language are preety limited i was thinking on getting some links from english speaking relevant blogs and forums. Does anyone have any experience if links from english language sites have any value for a non english one or should i just scrap this move? I was even thinking on doing some article writing ( in english of course ) but to put my targeted keyword in english in and just add the foreign site as a link in that word. Any help would be appreciated since im preety new in this field and from what i saw we got some seo gurus writing here among us Thanks in forward Theo
options are very limited when it comes to link building in foreign languages. there aren't just enough place to build links in native languages. i do SEO for lot is different sites and always use english articles with foreign language anchor text links with good success. it is easier to add foreign language anchor text links inside the articles that you submit to web 2.0 sites. you can also submit an english article to article directories and use the resource box to link to your foreign site with native anchor. some article directory will accept foreign language anchor text in resource box and some will not but you just keep submitting and it will work out just fine at the end.
