Foreign language content

Recently I decided to add foreign language posts to my blog to bring more hits from foreign countries. My blog was consistantly reporting 100 hits a day from Google analytics, after adding the foreign content it has been 2 and 10 etc!

Is this the direct result of adding non english content? Anyone have any ideas?

    Cheers,

You'd better add non-English content to other sub-domains.

Wow, never heard about it... I constantly add foreign language articles to digg.com and some other SB sites. Hope they are fine with it...

We all know that English is an international language and it is the language most people understand. Its not bad to post an article in different language, but it will be much better if it will be written in English and just provide TRANSLATING plugin (if there is!) with your blog.

Well, I notice that all my backlinks have been taken too... My PR 3 is still there, but the links are at 0. It is almost impossible to find my site for it's normally high keywords. If I search for the name of the site, it comes up so that is a start!

What I can't understand, is that there is nothing black hat, no adsense, just my own legal content. I have received no Google traffic for the last four days... arrrg! How can people run an online business when these kinds of things happen! How can we find out what has happened?

Maybe google detect foreign language and then change your site GEO target.
