Foreign Characters and ASP return in HTML

    Hi

    I have managed to insert data into an German table

    but when i try to get the information back on an ASP page, the data is not coming properly

    FOr Example the data is " hineingezwängt", it would show it as "hineingezwängt,"

    I have tired with

    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"/>

    Please help
