This may be a stupid question, but here goes anyway: Does YPN care about the domain extension, as long as the traffic is from US? Let's say I have a domain with the country code .be, .nl or whatever. Can I serve ads on those, as long as the traffic resides in the states? Thanks for your time
if you already have an account, you can place ads on any site you own, regardless of domain extension. however, if you are applying for an account with ypn, it may not be accepted. for the most definate answer, contact ypn and ask them. i dont see any problem with it. jmo
As long as the traffic resides in the states, I would probably say yes. However, the best thing you can do, is ad the ads, and then send them a note asking them to approve that sites ad placement. Then if they tell you no, it will be without a suspend or terminated.
YPN will probably not allow this. They are very picky since it is a beta. I "think" people have been banned from YPN for using a .com.ru domain before. INfact, now i remember, they were banned and they were VERY pissed off about it due to no notice. The member i am chatting about is username "allstar" on this forum, PM and ask. Rob
You can always use geo-targeting to display the Yahoo ads to your US visitors only, even your site has a mostly foreign audience.
